Caritas Zambia Statement on Cheap Propaganda

Caritas Zambia is saddened by the continued lies that are being peddled in the state owned media regarding an imaginary relationship between ourselves and the Ptariotic front which is being created by some indivudals. While the peddlers of this imaginary relationship know the position of Caritas Zambia, they have chosen to ignore this truth and instead go with thier own creations which are based on lies.

Official Launch of Civil Society Election Coalition 2011

Civil society Election Coalition 2011 (CSEC) is a new coalition formed by Zambian civil society and faith-based organisations that have come together to monitor the forthcoming 2011 tripartite elections in Zambia. The decision to form the coalition is inspired by the need to contriubute to the promotion of democracy in the country as guaranteed by the Zambian laws.

On this World Environment Day for this year today, whose theme is “Forest: Nature at your Service”, it is important to recourse to what God did at creation when He took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden to cultivate and take care of it (Gen 2: 15). This implies how the creation of God remains important, especially the environment.
